Early on in my studies I realized that I had a passion for the mindbody connection and I have been headed in that direction ever since. Over the years I have taken courses, and continually sought out information, about alternative ways to safely access the subconscious mind with the goal of increasing awareness and bringing about stable and lasting change, stability, and wellness in the individual.

As I learned more about the mindbody connection later in grad school, I became interested in the role stories play to identify themes and patterns in our lives. Through extra training and my own personal experiences, I have become confident in these powerful tools that can be used to truly aid healing from our wounds, and empower us to move forward in the ways we envision. My goal is to meet you where you’re at, and to incorporate modes of therapy that fit your own unique and exciting path to healing.

I live in Seattle, WA with my husband whom I met at Bastyr University. My current interests include reading, visiting bookstores of course (especially second hand ones), dabbling with sewing my own clothes, hiking, and swimming on hot summer days.

Meet

Alexander Lee Guzman, L.Ac, LMT

Hey there! I am a recent graduate from Bastyr University. My clinical training in Acupuncture as well as Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr Center for Natural Health provided me the foundation. However, it is not enough. I have committed my life to a continual process of learning and transformation. I am seeking continuing education on Master Tung's and Master Nagano's teachings.

My professional interest lies heavily on understanding the fascial network in the human body. Everything is connected within our bodies! Pursuing further education in Fascial Counterstrain with Brian Tuckey, PT, OCS, JSCCI, has vastly reshaped my practice. I weave in these techniques for immediate pain relief and increased functionality.

My personal interests include Qigong, Jungian psychology, and speculative investing. I love hiking WA trails with breathtaking views; I love my mom’s homemade Korean food; and I love helping people and making others laugh.

I am honored to be in a position of so much blessing, and I hope to give back more than I have ever received!
